5 on Lawrence isn’t just your local sports bar, it’s your community gathering place, owned and operated by Colorado native Maxwell Morrow. One of the thing things that sets us apart is our food, not just “elevated bar food”, but food that is prepared with care and understanding. Maxwell was an executive chef for 20 years before he decided to open a New York style deli at 2020 Lawrence Street, serving breakfast and lunch since 2014. Ten years later, he decided to open a sports bar, “I wanted to create a fun atmosphere with great food and drink for everyone to enjoy” 5 on Lawrence opened in late 2023 and has been wowing their customers with a menu that will please any sports fan!
The menu consists of the very popular fresh chicken wings that are grilled to perfection and served with a variety of house made sauces, or the star of the show, the fresh ground chuck smash burgers. There are 10 different burgers to choose from, served with your choice of crispy fries, tots, or onion rings (fried in tallow oil) a variety of appetizers including the smoked gouda mac and cheese bites and crispy chicken tenders, you can’t go wrong!
Maxwell is very hands on and maintains quality and consistency all year round, you can go anywhere and get a burger and fries, but at 5 on Lawrence will exceed your expectations every time, because we care.
